Science in the Pub, a concept taken from Politics in the Pub, is where ASM participants will explain their ideas, present the evidence as they read it and debate informally with you all over a few drinks. The idea is to create a relaxed, informal atmosphere where everyone will feel they are really participating in the debate.

Sounds like a good idea? Well we thought so – so cough up $20 and we will present the ideas, with four presentations, 10 minutes each, followed by your questions, and then a summary from our own Brian Doyle. Bryan Walpole will chair the session to keep it flowing and to time. Discussion can be continued at the bar later.

Cannabis and pill testing discussion with A/Prof David Caldicott is on the agenda so far, with others to be announced soon.

Buy own drinks, and the finger food is on us.

Numbers are limited, so make sure you register early!
