Family Friendly Initiatives
The ACEM 2019 ASM welcomes delegates with children, and enables them to participate in the Meeting by offering family friendly facilities. Childcare will be arranged onsite at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on the Monday through to Thursday. Costs will be dependent on the number of children requiring care, and will be confirmed closer to the time. If this is a service you would be interested in using you can express your interest upon registration for the Meeting.
The Meeting will also have a room at the Hotel Grand Chancellor where delegates with small children will be able to watch a live stream of plenary sessions.
Complimentary wireless internet access is available to Meeting delegates throughout the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart. Please see staff at the registration desk for further information.
The Meeting Organisers recognise that some delegates may have special dietary needs. Please advise the Meeting Secretariat either via the registration form or in writing should you wish for them to make alternative arrangements on your behalf.
Please Note: Dietary requirements received less than 72 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed. Kosher meals may be available, however please note this will be at an additional cost.
Car parking is available for hotel guests and is located underneath the hotel. An additional cost is payable if hotels guests wish to use the car park. Access to the car park is from the rear of the building on Macquarie Street. From the hotel’s main entrance drive along Davey Street, which is one way, and then turn right on Argyle Street and immediately right again onto Macquarie Street.
